Default Up the voltage?

I can't swing my TT01, it understeers and grips like mad. I'm going to go with the hot glue and lock the rear diff soon. But I was wondering. is it bad to put in a 7cell nicad battery instead of a 6? i duno what the voltage difference is, but i know it's more so it'll up the power a little, is that bad for the stock motor? is it bad for a trinity komodo dragon 19t? cause I'm looking into getting that later on. Thanks guys!

Which tyres are you using? if its the stock tyres thats prob why you cant swing the rear out properly try drift tyres or PVC/ABS tyres or even electric tape over the ones you have now.I wouldnt think you need more volts tbh you can drift a silver can 27t on drift tyres easy

what's 27t? hah i'm noob sorry. Would it damage it if i got a 7 cell battery? also if the maH is more than 1500 is that ok? maH is just the amount of charge it holds for longer run times right? i'm also thinking of locking the rear diff to help

Yeah 27turn motors are stock ones for drifting a nice mod 17-19turn is great but your ESC(speed controller) needs to support that low of a turn motor etc
1500mah yes is the hold of the charge thats a small battery prob the one that came with the car trust me get a 3600mah plus and the difference will be unbelievable lol more power and more runtime

Most motors run upto 8.4v(7cell) but i wouldnt go any higher unless running BL(brushless)
Like i said though the tyres are the contact piont and main hopup if you have the standard tyres or the tamiya drift tyres change them out or as a quick fix wrap electrical tape around the tyre and see the difference, the back end will be out lots lmao i use pvc molded wheels from ebay they slide like hell trying to go straight is even harder
