New to R/C but think drifting is the best for my local area since i dont have a close by track...
My setup currently is:
AE TC3
Mamba ESC w/ castle link
Mamba 7700kva motor
2200 2s 7.4v LiPo
3800 2s 7.4v LiPo
Heavy Duty One-Way Front Diff with steel outdrives
Heavy Duty Rear Diff with steel outdrives
17.5lbs blue sprngs front
35lbs yellow springs rear
Everything else is stock.....
Im looking for what kind of tires one would recommend for drifting, and what is the story behind these pvc type looking drift tires ive been seeing?
Also is this setup decent for getting a drifter?

the story behind those platicy looking ones is theyr plumbing pipe cut down and put over the rims basically we dont use them over here cus theyr ****...
but alot of people in america do...
I use hpi T-drift tyres theyr not that expensive and provide adequete slip-grip ratio for really nice drift control
my 2cents

if you are new to drifting try a stock motor or even a 19t motor with pvc - experienced drifters see the mamba max 7700 alot of power to control. I use the 7700 in my tt-=01 car
