I am not really into electrics nor drifting but that is a 4 wheel drive, you will have to remove the belt to make it rear wheel only . From my experience all Team Magic products are of quality same goes for Kyosho and Xray. I would but any of this brands.

What he said is totaly wrong , Without being too sinister or anything 2wd drifting is very VERY difficult , and not recomended for a first time drifter - get yourself a 4 wheel drive car with low grip tyres , ABS , PVC , hard compoud tamiya / yoko one's - There's loads on the market. Four wheel drive is essential. As for the one you linked ive never owned one myself but look's like it would do the job perfect , and im yet to hear anyone complain about the quality of Team magic's product's, Need any more help? just throw me a pm.

4wd for drifting.
Team Magic makes high quality cars.
Another good choice for a drifter is a shaft drive Tamiya car such as a TT or TB02.

Get a tamiya tt or tb series get the drift versions so you get the extras you will need.
Both chassis are built solid and have some adjustment the tb being better than the tt bear in mind.
Ive drifted with both belt and shaft driven and i still say shaft for drifting it gives instant torque unlike belt drive which spools up ie better for racing and in the corners etc
Everyone praises the sprint2 too for drifting never used one myself but they seem popular at our track.
