Can a TA-05 outdrift a tt-01d?
I'm in Shanghai, China, and the Tamiyas here a dirt cheap (prices are like what you'd find on ebay, minus the 40 dollar shipping!). I was just about to walk out with a tt-01d skyline gtr with led's for about 180 us, when a ta05ifs caught my eye. I was told that it can drift too, with just a set of aftermarket drift tires. It only costs about 20 more dollars in u.s. Now I'm torn in decision. Help me out! Do I take the complicated choice or do I just go with the tt01d for simplicity's sake?
Thanks.
(strict drifting, maybe parking lot bashing. nothing more.)

If you can get an affordable TA05, by all means do it. It is a great chassis that after a little bit of set up, can drift so smooth. It is more balanced then the TT01, has fully adjustable suspension out of the box, and has a lot of option parts available.

The TA-05 is a better kit to tune more adjustability but like others have said 90% is down to the person running it
Though the TT has alot more hopups for it,both will drift fine with the right tyres out the box so it depends how much you like to tinker with setups etc
