Default drift wheels

i have a question re drift tires. i have tried some of those tamiya pre mounted drift wheels.i found them a little to grippy to drift.i have a set of wheels that slide super easy so am guessing they are abs,hard plastic.these other brand wheels,how do they compare to abs or the tt01d kit wheels? do they slide eassily or are they a little grippy? am running a 23t in a tt01

Default RE: drift wheels

Hi there,

I'm surprised you found the Tamiya versions too grippy, Ifound they are just slow and slide all over the place!

I've reviewed some Turbo Hobby one's on my website so you can have a look here;
rcdriftuk.com/2009/07/28/upcoming-review-budget-tires-turbohobby-dc-3-drift-tire-set/

There's some more I've yet to review, but they have everything from slow, medium, fast and super fast drift tires so you really can match your skill/motor/surface set up exactly.

Hope that helps!

Lewis
