Default What is missile drifting?

I've heard this term a couple times since I've been looking into rc drifters. Someone said that he has an old drifter that he uses for missile drifting. My best guess is that it's drifting at high speeds, but can anyone give some more info? Thanks!

Probably means a car that someone drives really fast and really hard without caring about what kind of damage is inflicted upon the car idk that's what it sounds like to me.

Not a fan of missile drifters.. I like the prestine gleaming paint jobs without the panel damage... Although as some say.. its good way to recycle your busted RC Shells

Well i guess i kinda have a missle drifter but i actually care about damage i do to the car well the chasis anyway my body for my car doesnt even have a bumper made of lexan anymore its duct-tape at least its lime green like the rest of the car hahaha which by the way is like 3 different shades of limegreen now haha ive smashed this body up bad the paint has chipped off in so many places it has the original lime green then a very similar shade the paint number was only off by like 2 numbers but you can see where its different shades and then the last green is a citadel acrylic paint for my warhammer 40k space marines so i have a very odd looking bodyshell now but it looked great when it was first painted theres a pic of it in the last page of the post a pic of your drifter thread its a toyota tureno body thats limegreen with a black hood and black rims

Howdi Chaps.

Ok I think you are missing the point about Missile.
There is no such thing as {Missile drifting}
Missile is the car its self. A stock body,, well what ever is left of it. It will in some way be hotted up, BUT The exteriar is messed up.
Like a practice car for the D1 drifters or an entry level drifter that would rather spend his money on tyres and motor setup. Not on the looks of the car. BUT in tern the car must always meet the events specs and Drift series specs before it can get on the track.
For RC drifting it is just a different way of expressing your Drift side. OR To look different. It is very rearly that some one will take a NEW shell and make a Missile out of it. Normaly it is an old shell that is Tooooo K*K to run with,, THEN MISSILE time. I love it.
Recyleing.. hhehhehehehehehe.
This is my first shell i painted and now 3 years later Its a hit again...{pun} Whahhahahahahahahaha
