Default beginner, what radio and servo

Hey what's up guys. Sorry for another beginner post.

So I'm new to r/c and looking into drifting. Ive done some research and I think im set on getting a tt 01d. I'd like to get a kit because I think building it will be fun and i would like to learn about the car for when i need to fix or upgrade somethng.

My question is the kits im looking at come with everything but the radio system so i'd like to know a few i should look into getting. I don't need anything fancy because I am a total beginner so I'm just looking for something that gets the job done.

Oh and I'd also like to stock up on some battery packs so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you! Any help, comments or warnings before going into this project will be appreciated!

When I got my TT-01, I bought [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXASX3**&P=7]this[/link] for it. It comes with two servos, so you'll have an extra. You could wait a while and they'll have one in stock with one servo instead but it only saves you a few bucks...so you may as well get this one and have an extra servo for a rainy day.

Anyway, I'd recommend it. It's worked well for me and it's not very expensive.

Thanks for the reply INSIDEout. That looks to good too me and its fitting in my budget.

leadfootdriver, ive been to the hobby shop by my house but I really don't like their service. they only seem to recommend what they have in stock so their recommendations change from week to week. So I turned to the internet to get more advice.

Oh then that is a better choice there's a hobbyshop like that close by to me but if I go farther there's a Hobbytown USA with way better service and some consistency with their stock
