Hot Works rims have been proven to look good but are too soft for sliding.. |

RE: Descent Wheels for drifting
BTW I dont feel like making a thread for this but would these shocks fit the tt-01 fine http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAHM7&P=7

RE: Descent Wheels for drifting
there 58mm.. Stock Shocks for TT-01 are 50-55mm they may be a Tad Big
|
RE: Descent Wheels for drifting
oh ok would tc3 or 4 shocks fit?
|
RE: Descent Wheels for drifting
You can use those shocks, just use shock limiters. You can either use o-rings or small plastic washers and fit them on the shock shaft under the piston when you assemble the shocks.

THe only thing you'll have to worry about is finding the right mounting screws, as the tc3 shocks use a pivot ball insert mounted on a 4-40 screw whereas the tamiya uses a 3mm tapping screw. |
