Here is my recoil. It has a Neu 1105/2y which is 5200kv. I should have (and will in future) gotten a 9200kv motor. This thing ripped up the stock tires and it could drift with them. I could do wicked donuts in the street and drift around corners. Once these tires go out (soon) I will put cellular abs on the rims and buy a set of foams for racing. 1.5" abs from my past spudgun fits the recoil (and tailwhip) rims perfectly.:D
It has a 20t pinion, goes 40mph, and can still drift at all speeds! Neu motors are perfect for drifting imo. TONS of torque. Even the higher kv ones are torque monsters. Gearing is 20/58... I THINK stock is around 13/58. |

hi everyone happy to announce i am going to get one as soon as i get the money and i will get the greddy 350z or alike i want one soon because i really need a hobby cant wait to start drifting

i got my car here it is. the lexus body is back ordered so i just used the 350z one for now.

Ultra Vip, try to moist the area with some soapy water before applying decals, its easy to adjust too. Then wipe it with paper cloth and let dry. I use this technique every time I'm applying my decals. Hope this helps. ;)

Well after looking and reading alot of these post I ordered a Sprint 2.. I'm a nitro guy and have only been in the hobby for 6 months but after seeing these sweet cars thought I would take a shot with them. Any tips on learning how to drift? Thanks guys and look forward to being apart of this thread..

yeah definatly, all you need to do is practice... maybe tighten or lock your rear diff... slap on some abs tires and let em spin :D

the fender is like that because its a monster truck body that i retro fitted and the wheel wells are bigger i.e. u can see in the rear tires where the indentation is longer than where it is cut. also the front left side is like that because the body comes with a blower and that is where the piece that is on the hood is. hard to explain but im sure u get what im sayin

I could see Marley driving this piece of work. I enjoy the 01 [sm=shades_smile.gif] design. I also like the fact the car is a tad rough, it would not have been the General Marley done any other way...

I'm new to drifting, I picked up a Yokomo for $100 and just bought wheels for it. 6 offset up front and 9 in back.
