slash build
i am doing a slash 4x4 build thinkiing about locking the rear end up a 4s lipo all new drive lines and a novak hv 5.5 system need to find a good set of shocks if you guys have any ideas let me know droping the novak system in to night

i got the motor in but was not able to use the novak heat sink for the motor[&o][&o][&o] now i am working finding a location to mount the esc i am thinking i am gonna use the battery strap if any one has any good ideaas let me know

4S in that guy is just going to be overkill IMO, but sometimes that is what the name of the game is... What kV is the 5.5 motor? What do you want to do with the truck? Just make it insanely fast or do any racing or ?

i am going for insanly fast but still able to run it at the local hobbie shop on there dirt oval the novak 5.5 is 3700kv for 1/8 scale applications

you can only dye the chassis a darker color, if you use a brighter color, it won't work right. white can be any color, grey can be purple, dark red, blue, green, and some others i bet. black is stuck black.
sounds like a fun build, but are you sure that the 5.5 motor can handle 4s? because it goes at track speed on 2s, so stupid fast is at 3s.

sooo the wife gave me 120.00 to play with for the slash before i got to afgnistan thats where the real test will be but i opted to get the 4000 mah 3s lipo 60c and a pinnion and i think i may get a center diff for it also will post a pic tommarrow of it and friday or saterday nite i will have a vid of it running against a 2wd slash at the lhs track or whats left of the track
