RE: Mip Cvds worth it?
Well I haven't had that much of a problem snapping plastic axles with brushless power (2s and 3s) on my old Rustler and now Slash. But in my Emaxx, it was a rampant problem with brushless. I'm sure it's not the exact same comparison, but I bought CVDs for the Emaxx and have not had 1 problem in over 2 dozen runs, on 3s lipo and XL brushless motor, popping wheelies and whatnot.

MIP CVDs are the only way to fly.
All of ThunderbirdJunkie's 10th scales have had them since...uhh...
Well
The only one that didn't have them was his Stampede.

I agree with T-bird on this. Toss the plastic and get CV's

It was probably not secured enough before he put everything else back in order. Man yall drive your trucks crazy! I have never broken any shafts on my Revo, Maxx, Rustler VXL, or my Slash 4X4 PE.
How do they normally break for yall? Hard landings from jumps onto concrete?

I bent one pretty good on my T3 but it was 100% my fault. Ran a little too close to the neighbors 1/1 SUV and got my back tire wedged between the SUV tire and the street. This was at close to full throttle. It tore the bearing holder and end of the arm off clean with the wheel attached and bent the CVD pretty good. I was really impressed that the CVD wasn't worse.

YES!, CVD'S are gods gift to the rc world, i had them on my evader, rustler, stampede, slash and t-maxx, there great. traxxas uses half shafts in all there rigs, you'll find over time that they get dirty, also deform warp and bend from hits, brushless motors and so on, witch makes suspention action sloppy, and unsmooth.
Ps- i also bent the cvd's in my stampede but doing stupid jumps, (50-60ft launches) Just testing the durablity of my rig, i straightend them out and kept on going, one set lasted me 3 or 4 seasons, i ending up breaking only one in the winter time from a hard direct hit on a weak bent cvd from my t-maxx, but you cant complain with that kind of durability. i find with the traxxas 2wd rigs that the whole assembly flex's so much to absorb hits that the CVD's bend right alot with the rest of the truck, my t-maxx was fine because it had 2 sets of A-arms to support the driveshafts while the slash 4x4 and 2wd versions only have one arm and camber links
