WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

More WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?

YEEEEEEEEEEEHAW

Fairly certain this one came up just a tad short There's a reason the bumper's got dirt ground into it

OK, this one, without a doubt, was how ThunderbirdJunkie landed that jump...just not his truck

Chasing the leader...which has the most hacked up Rustler-chassis'd derelict Slash you've EVER seen in your LIFE.

Pretty sure we need Dixie horns and a Dodge Monaco chasing us with a Basset Hound in the passenger seat

HOW DID HE GET AROUND THUNDERBIRDJUNKIE?

haha SUCKER!

Don't mind ThunderbirdJunkie, just showing off his highly dirt-polished chassis and skidplate...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW DEM DUKE BOYS AIN'T NE'ER GAWNA CATCH US

SON OF A....

Yeah, c'mon, try another pass on the inside

Whenever possible, ThunderbirdJunkie prefers to take a liesurely ride on the rails...

ThunderbirdJunkie may not be the subject of this shot, but the backdrop is more than amusing.

Myself and my fiance each have a 2wd VXL slash and I also have a MM 3905 E-maxx.

My slash has RPM arms, front bumper, front and rear skids, rear bumper mount and rear shock tower, STRC alum front castors, steering blocks and rear axle carriers, Futaba S3305(i think thats the model) metal geared servo, proline epic wheels with switch tires, 32p gears, trx big bore shocks with blue and red springs and has an REM tranny case and RPM rear adjustable body mounts on the way.

Fiances slash has RPM arms, rear bumper mount and rear skid and orange/yellow springs. She hasnt been as busy as I have.

The E-maxx is all stock except for the MM system, but it does need a new front skid as a result of a nose dive.

Heres a couple shots from a massive photoshoot of a bash session from a couple months ago:

fresh coat of paint on a VERY beat up body.... this is a blitz i traded for.... think i got the bad end of the deal. done a lot of work to it. parts it has that it didn't. 1. hand turned brushed motor. 2. new 88t spur gear. 3. 1/8th proline wheels and caliber tires w/ AKA adapters. 4. veloci SC. fm radio. 5. ESE front and rear bumpers. 6. currently bluebird servo but looking for a new one. barebones truck only had body when i got it..... not worth the trade but im working on it to make it a better truck

FIrst ever paint job, spray-can and masking tape lol

Brushless (Velineon) Slash 4X4 RTR

Upgrades in the trucks short life: Pro-Line SPlit Sixes, Calibers front and Bow-ties rear
Losi 42 1/2 oil all the way around
Hot Racing sway-bars
E-Maxx springs in rear (progressve)
Center diff will be here by Friday, one day before the winter classics race at my LHSlol yay

Handles GREAT for the RTR. Had a lil grudge match last week with a few local 1/10 buggies at practice, went "door-to-door" the whole way around

My Revo BE
I just did this Proline Airstream body. It's kinda crap but, they don't last long anyway. My first electric truck and it's impressive. Took these pics right after running it so it's pretty dirty- not a shelf-er

Well nothing too dramatic as of right now.

My Lunchbox, got it from Blitzman here on RCU. This is the newly painted body. I fixed a couple cracks, upgraded the motor to a 27t 550 can and added full bearings

My HPI RS4Pro3 VTA racer

My Losi XXX-BK2

My Current Clod Project. Going to install bearings, 4 link suspension, new paint, light bar, head lights and brake lights, twin 19 turn chameleons, evx2 esc.
Just gotta figure out the paint scheme.

Here is the look I'm thinking of, to blend the red, blue and black of the chassis, axles and springs

Traxxas rustler with wide rusty conversion and stampede tires. Mamba maxx pro esc w/ traxxas velineon motor and a venom 6400 mah 3s2p lipo. An rc10 gt crowd pleaser to top it off.

Yeah. Got it. Thanks. I want to put a light rack on it but the stacks interfere with a stock light bar so I'm going to try and craft some out of aluminum tubing. I've decided to go with an american flag theme. Going to be silver or white with american flag flames over the body with a 4"X6" Flag flying out of the rear bed. I really wanted to blend the colors going on in the chassis area. I might change the piggyback shocks I have to 4" anodized blue shocks, but I really like the height on those piggybacks.

The crawler is going through an overhaul. Definitely needed new shocks, rewired the duratrax motors back in. Gotta change the shocks to some 3" shocks and going to shift to the Bronco body and go for more of a scaler look.

Well I spent some time rebuilding the clod. I'm not 100% happy with the paint. Didn't take as well as I had hoped even though I sanded down the old paint and primed it. But here's the finished product. I wanted to go with a USA theme because the chassis is a mix of original Clod and Super Clod to give that red and blue feel. Still a work in progress but this will be the runner body for it.
