Just keep your motor temps below 155F and you should be good to go.

Seems to be some debate over this, but wouldnt it be better to get the 1/2 turned labeled ones instead, (8.5, 13.5 etc.) as these are the full size motors, and the even numbered ones are 380's in a 540 can?

I'm guessing its a rebadged HW 35A ESC, and motor due to the price its sold at(same as HW 35A) and how it looks like an identical copy anodized in a different color.
If it's so I wouldn't recommend the .5 turn motors for it seeing those pull 60Amps.

I had this combo too, but I screwed the motor up, my own fault though. But the esc is going strong powering a tacon motoron 3s in a rustlerfor a while now. For the price I would buy another combo.

ok, i got a question about the ESC specs. i noticed on your picture that the ESC says it can handle up to a 3s lipo, but only a 6s NIMH. what's up with that, doesn't make any sense.

a 3s lipo puts out 11.1-12.6 volts.
a 12 cell nimh pack puts out 14.4

each cell of a lipo battery has 4.1v(when fully charged) and a nimh cell has 2.1v

Just another xerxes....

Why not go for a tacon 3500kv and an ezrun. Its only $5 more, but im sure the tacon motor is better than the leopard. And the ezrun might be able to handle a little more amperage at a high temperature.
