Default NiMH Battery Fix

Hey guys, one of my batteries to my Mini Revo shows nothing on the volt meter where as my other shows about 7.3 under no load. So, I assume there is something wrong with the wiring on the battery? The wires are pretty loose on it so I'm assuming there is something wrong with the wiring. Now, can I fix this? If I can, what would I do? Open up the insulation and solder it back onto the cell? Or does it require some welding?

one of my hump packs did that.
i removed the shrinkwrap and one of the little flat bars that connect a cell to another cell was cracked.
i simply replaced the bar with a peice oof wire. then taped the whole pack.
works good now.

even a very old pack will show a little on the meter unless something is undone in my experience, I would bet its one of the two wires at the top of the stick pack, depending on the quality of the pack they may just be "bonded" or glued rather than soldered on, if thats the case I would get the other wire off, clean them both off and put them back on with solder this time.
