New ezrun motors?
Hi all I just received a package in the mail today and inside wasn't the old style but a new one called 17.5t 'victory'. On paper it appears to have a lower kv rating although it looks much cooler! Does anyone know about these new models, please say they're not the dreaded 380 in a 540 can rebranded.

RE: New ezrun motors?
actually they are the new batch of fullsize 540's, they still make the 380's in the 540 cans.
(the only thing "dreaded" about the 380's come from people using them in the wrong applications, great little motors for little cars)
i have a pair of the 8.5t 4000kv's on my dual bl clodbuster. they work great, run cool and have tons of tq.

Its when they start putting the low turned motors in heavy trucks, and driving mostly offroad do they have issues.
