Default Slash qusetions

I was thinking about getting a slash of some sort to drive here in Saskatchewan Canada in the winter. Are all slashes waterprrof or just the brushless versions? How do they do in the cold (-20*Celcious)?

All versions are waterproof/resistant. Lipos batterys will not like running in that cold of temperature unless you make sure to keep them warm up until you put them in the truck, run it and then put them back in warm place to prevent the battery chemistry from breaking down and ruining the battery. I've run my Slash 4x4 for snow racing and its alot of fun but be prepared to take the tuck apart after each run and dry it off and check/grease/oil all the bearings or they will rust up. You can spray WD-40 to help reduce this from happening.

super cold weather will make all the plastic a lot more brittle. I've snapped many more things in the sub zero weather than when it's hot out.
