If you're going to go for the little Savage as a roller
The roller is an option?

Must be a Europe/Asia thing[:@]
No I assumed he was going to wait for ebay rollers, but I clearly misread/misunderstood.

Blind, the first owner has reported in, said its a little tank. Check the official thread in the micro forums, lots of battery discussion and FAQs. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10681583/tm.htm

It would be wise to get some extra deans plugs, just in case, but apart from that, if you got truck, batts and charger, you're good to go. Placed my preorder today myself.

Even if they fit, you do NOT want those. The wheels are weak, and the tires are an ultra hard compound which results in like zero traction anywhere.

What do you recommend? I want more narrower wheels than the savage comes with. Btw, is the savage xs is a true 1/10?

No it's not a true 1/10th. To be a true 1/10th it would have to be based on a car that exists in the real world, so it falls at the first hurdle. It is marketed as a 1/12, but since monster trucks are big in reality, it has the approximate size of a 1/10th model. It takes 1/10th electronics and 1/10th wheels and tires. It takes 2.2 wheels on a standard 12mm hex, there are a LOT of different wheels and tires that would fit.

ThunderbirdJunkie will be putting RPM Slingshot Stampede front wheels on all four corners with 2.2" ProLine Badlands on his truck.

Awesome info thanks! Sorry if im asking too many questions! But what would be a good 1/10 4wd stadium truck? In any form (rtr, kit, roller etc).anyway, Ive been looking all over the place for some comparison pictures with the savage xs and a 1/10 stadium truck or even just a person holding it so i can get an idea of how big it is.

A 1/10th stadium truck would be the same size as the Savage flux XS (maybe a tiny touch bigger). A 1/10th short course would be a bit bigger still.

By the way! I also have these batteries, can I use them for anything? Maybe charge the batteries when an outlet is not around?

Its going to be smaller, with a shorter wheelbase, however it might be a little taller. The Flux is smaller then 1/10th, it only has about an 8.5" wheelbase so its a decent amount smaller then say a 1/10th stadium truck, or a stampede 4x4 which both have around an 11" wheelbase for comparison.

The 12v battery you can use to run your charger most likely. Most decent chargers have both AC and DC inputs.
