sidewinder v2 esc in an emaxx

Default sidewinder v2 esc in an emaxx

so i have a sidewinder v2 esc and 4600kv motor. I was woundering if it would overheat or over work the esc if i put this in an emaxx? i know castle says its for sct 2wd or 4wd so i am not sure.

You will burn up both the motor and esc in a emaxx. You need the castle mamba monster combo for that truck.

yep, no way it will work.
i have run a vxl system(3300kv motor) in an emaxx. geared way down, it just works. but it really pushes the system to its limits.
the truck is simply to heavy for a 540can brushless motor.
you need a 1/8 scale motor. they are longer and provide greater torque to push all the weight of maxx.
