Traxxas Stampede Brushed Titan Motor - FAILURE
just got a stampede like 10 days ago ...
and the motor is already done! the other day driving it, then switched batteries, and pull trigger - nothing.
troubleshot, and found that motor getting full voltage but nothing... not even a strained noise.
was driving a bit through puddles, but nothing excessive.
how common do these brushed motors fail? are brushless more durable? anything I can do to revive this one?
also - how is traxxas for warranty? local hobby shop could do nothing for me.

da titan 21 is much bettr. it runs coolr & is jus a all around bettr built motor. myne has bin 2 hell & bak & its still workin. goin on aabout 5 yrs old.
xerxes has herd of many 12t failures, but hardly any 21t failures.
putn a 12t in a new rc is just a trend losi & traxxas follow blindly. u wont find any benifit in usin a 12t ovr a 21t. but da 21t will outperform its 12t countpart in prety much evry aspekt.

will agree the titan 12t tends to be a turd
think mine lasted 5 runs before it stopped.
my nephew has one of the rare ones that have been through hell and back, and lasted many years. He got his in an extremely used, and abused stampede with the yellow XL-5 esc.

Has anyone tried the Titan 775 on their "pede? It has a 5mm shaft and I wonder if there are nay pinions out there to fit it.
