Default HELP rc 18mt is dead

i bought it used, it has a brushless system already in it. i think it's a castle sidewinder, but it doesn't say on it. the switch was hanging by a thread so i replaced it. and it was working. that was a few months ago, well now i get absolutely nothing. i plug in the battery and turn it on, i don't even get a servo twitch. i'm new to this stuff and i have no idea what to do. can someone please help me? i'm really frustrated

Check the switch again. Take it off and touch the 2 wires with the battery in. If it works, then its the switch. If no, your ESC might be fried or your battery has a problem (loose wire, disconnected cell, a cell that cannot hold a charge anymore, etc.)

The 2 wires connected to the switch. Touch those. It should short nothing out, because that is what a switch does; it activates a circuit.

If it doesn't work, look at the battery. Are you using a wall charger? If so, test it on a better charger and see if one of the cells are dead.

Check you battery and your connections. I have a Mamba Micro pro on an RC18T and the battery lead wires started loosing contact.
