Lipo Noob Question
Hey guys, I am about to get my first 1/8 buggy (I never bought the one I talked about earilier for those *****cognize me.) Anyway it needs 2 2s lipos in series. I found abattery I like and it seems alright but I am not sure its a; 5800 mah, 30c, 7.4v, 2s. I need to run two of those and I want to know if 5800 mah is to much for the ESC, somewhere I heard that if the mah is to high you can damage your ESC, if that true? The buggy I am getting is the HPI Trophy Buggy. Thanks for the help.

RE: Lipo Noob Question
I've never had much luck with packs that are parallel. Always took longer to charge and balance since one cell would always go out alot sooner than the other. This is my experience, I'm sure some will agree and others won't.
This pack is a few bucks more, but is the same as you posted except its 2s1p which should be more reliable.

You may also want to just get (1) 4s pack. That way you don't have to run two packs in series. The only reason I would get (2) 2s packs is if you have other RC trucks that run them in two different trays (like a Traxxas E-Revo or HPI Savage Flux).
Turnigy, Sky, and GensAce are just a few companies that make a solid 4s pack.
