is your radio system still AM? That could be the problem. Some brushless systems ***cough****CASTLE*******cough*** throw out a lot of RF. When I first got mine, the range on the radio was like ten feet. Glitch Buster didn't do squat. Replaced the cheapo AM radio with a cheapo Fly Sky 2.4ghz system, and no problem!
