Default Losi Truck, no motor action from Futaba MC210CB

I have a team losi truck back from the early 90’s. the problem I’m having seems to be with the ESC which is a Futaba MC210CB. I turn on the remote, plugin the battery, turn the switch on and you hear the car come to life. At that time I am able to move the steering without a problem. The problem is when I try to go forward or reverse, the care does not do anything…no motor action. I’ve tried the crystals on another losi truck and they worked fine. i went through the settings, set the neutral trimmer. Tried to set the high trimmer, but only get a fast blinking light, unable to set it to go into a solid light. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I’m not greatly familiar with all the terms in the RC world, so my apologizes if anything is misstated.

Hook up the motor's plugs to a 9 volt battery. Does it spin the wheels? If no, then the motors your problem. If yes, then its eiather the battery or ESC.
How old is the battery? Does it still hold a charge? If it is an old one, then replace it. If not, then the ESC is 100% the problem.
Here would be a replacement; http://www.rcplanet.com/DuraTrax_Spr...FSdp7Aod4h4A1w

Collector1231, thanks for the info. I finally got a hold of a soldering gun and was able to swap out the ESC, no luck. swapped out the motor, BAM...bad motor, car is running now. once again, many thanks for the info! Merry Christmas!
