Default Car for me?

I'm looking for a good off road rc that can go pretty fast. I want an electric 1/8 or 1/10 scale. I would like 4wd. Under $600 possibly can go over. Thanks

I think this would be good for your uses.

^^^ Except, get these batteries instead, I just don't see the need for 50C and 5600mah when you can get a 40C 5000mah for $30 ($60 all together) less.

This question comes up all the time, but we need to narrow the "field" down a bit to see what would best fit your needs, 'cause all the 1/8 & 1/10 scale....hundreds of options. A great well rounded basher; with good reviews, and won't break the bank... collector1231, and many others, have confirmed my thoughts that Ofna seems to be a great choice.

I must be a cheapskate when it comes to batteries , because there's no way I would pay $54.95 for a (#15057) 40C 5000mah 2S LiPo pack; let alone $92.99 for a (#TST415087) 50C 7.4 5600mAh 2S LiPo pack, and that's the 20% off price. Whooo wheee.

I'm the same... I'd never pay that much for 2s batteries and I don't receomend those universal connectors.

And just to be different.... Yes it's been discussed hundreds of time about what car to get and it always comes back to the ofna vehicles...

its ts safe to say on this forum they are the go to brand for great value for money. And I can't agree anymore. But...
That doesent mean they are anything speical and from I've noticed there is no aftermarket support, no customer support and the genuwine upgrades are expensive and hard to find.

I generally recomend bigger brands, it's not just because of there product it's because of the product support both in parts, upgrades and most importantly information.

Another "plug" for Ofna...http://www.eofna.com/OFNA-18-Hyper-S...t_p_18401.html
I got intouch with Ofna about clear buggy bodies for the SSe. I got an email back with this link of a roller...80% assembled. Just add your favorite gear and paint your favorite color(s). That's what I'm talking about!
