Default tires won't stay on

i have an hpi e-firestorm, brushless on 3s batteries. i can't seem to keep the stock tires and wheels together. hard turns or a session of hard starts and wheelies will inevitably result with a bead or two coming undone. i've reglued them, tried new tires with new rims, different ca glue, anally cleaning off the glue before and then sanding lightly before gluing, etc...
what else can i try?

fwiw, i'm game to try beadlocks, but people seem to have mixed experiences with those as well. altho beadlock plus glue may work, tho seemingly defeats the purpose of beadlock

I would get 17mm hex adapters and run some 1/8 wheels:

or
if you want to run off-road then these:

Sounds like you got a handle on roughing up wheel and having clean beads. I like using Simple Green to clean/degrease wheels and tires before gluing. Beadlocks and too much speed; on high traction surfaces, is not a good combo. Another possible thought to try...closed cell foams inside your tires if you are not already using them. Taller sidewall tires will greatly benefit from closed cell foams.

Don't use old glue. If your CA glue is more than six months old, toss it. Use fresh glue. Use alcohol to clean the tire beads thoroughly. The mold release residue is your worst enemy. Sanding the wheel bead channels helps, clean them out with alcohol too. That is all you should have to do to achieve a good tire bond. That, and letting them dry thoroughly.

I got some Proline beadlocks for my short course truck, and replaced the heavy steel rings with aluminum rings. I really like them. Saves you a lot not having to buy new wheels every time you have to get new tires. But I still use glue ups on my truggy.
