Default Motor quitting

I have a evader and the motor has started to just stop when I pull the throttle to full from a dead stop. When I ease into the throttle it runs fine. What you guys think? Motor faulty or speed controller. Every thing is stock.

have you replaced the motor with a faster one? if so, you may be overloading the stock ESC

i had a problem kind of like this once. coming from a stop, if i gunned it then the motor would spin and the car would start slowly. i fixed it. Did you hear a pop coming from your car before? if so then you may need to open up the motor area and clean it out. a resitor may have blown(as did mine) and your getting arcing without resistance

I actually had this happen to a brand new motor once. I couldn't figure out what it was ...at first. I would hit full throttle and nothing....than I spinned the gear and fine... It was fine once it got going, but wouldn't "get going". I ended up talking to my local hobby shop and I was told the brushes either weren't broke in or they were hanging up. If your motor is brand new this might be it. Good luck and hope some of this helps.

Yeap, it's a hung brush.. Do this.. Put the truck up on a stand, and gun it. Will it spin? Bet it won't... If it doesn't, then take a small screw driver and GENTLEY push the brushes in while under throttle. I bet it fires right up. If so, then you need to have you hoods aligned and possibly some new brushes.
