Default Touring car body sizes

What is the difference between 190mm and 200mm touring car bodies? Is it just to allow for wider tires? Are they run in the same class? Thnaks!

generally speaking as I understand it the 200mm bodies are for gas cars to allow for the pipe. My TC3 electric uses a 200mm body but I have the 200mm kit on it with longer suspension arms etc.....

hope this helps

As pinolelst said, the 200mm bodies typically are marketed for nitro cars, and 190mm for electrics. Both are 1/10 scale. You should measure the width of your car at the rear tires to see which one would fit best, though. Not all cars are exactly the way the body manufacturers think they are. I have an electric pan car that runs 200mm bodies.

Some how I knew this would be the case. Thanks fo the comfirmation. For us SAE guys (inches) 190mm suggests around 71/2 inches and 200mm around 8 inches. does that sound about right?
