I have an old 4WD buggy that I want to put street tires and chrome wheels on. Any recommendations? I still want it strong enough to be able to take some jumps. Are Venom street tires any good?

There O.k. they don't have that much traction though. I really don't know what else is out there. What buggy are you running, are they hex hubs or pin hubs? It make a big difference.

The buggy is an old Optima Mid SE. It uses hex hubs.

Then almost any touring car tire with hex hubs should work. And if you want to go that way, practicley any touring car tire will fit, and just look around for on-road tires at www.towerhobbies.com for them, and they have a bunch to choose from!

Know any good tire brands that have great traction on asphalt or concrete?

Get some foam's if you want traction. If you want some looks get some hpi rubbers and some traction adhesive.
