Youve probobly already sene mine a few times, but here it is.
The white body is one I painted (proline crowd pleazer) and the other one my uncle gave me (its for an rc10gt, thats why it doesnt fit right)
Its got quite a few hop-ups, almost full graphite chasis (need hubs and knuckle arms), heatsink motor mount, yellow bumper/motor guard, RPM rims, Proline tires, Robinson racing pinions, antisquat kit, Novak ESC, Futaba 3pm-tfs radio system, venom speedmeter, venom 13x2 fireball motor, and maybe some otehr stuff that I forgot.

RE: official evader st thread
I just got rid of my evader... quite an adventure to say the least. After all the $$$ I spent and all the time together, it was like a long term love affair. (only it didn't gripe at me for playing with rc toys)
My policeman friend that radars for me has been trying to talk me out of it forever, and he finally started talking decent $$$ over the christmas break. So, it's gone... all that aluminum, all the graphite, all the metal tranny gears... gone but not forgotten.

gimme a break...
I gotta get my rc10L finished first, and then I think I'm gonna restore an old gold tub rc10. (not a t4, though) I've been digging around through all my old junk, going retro...

RE: official evader st thread
Or traded a T2?
Well, you gotta keep in mind that this little thing has been going on for a long time. He started out after the first time he clocked the evader offering me $100 and begging. I laughed at him. In the more than a year since, he's watched me pour more and more money into it, and also watched the radar reading go up and up. The last time he bugged me about it, he offered me $500 and I told him to go buy his own. Thinking about it, I knew that it wasn't what I had in it, but more than I'd ever get from anyone else. Started thinking maybe I was the dufus...
Low and behold, he calls me last week asking about the stupid evader! I told him it was in a million pieces, because I'd torn it down to rebuild over the winter, and then got knee deep in my RC10L. He asked me if I'd put it back together for $550. I tried, have tried, still trying to explain to him just how much truck he could buy for that. He feels like he knows the evader and has his mind set on it. I told him I'd settle for $500 even 'cause I felt kinda bad, and threw in a few old battery packs and a crappy charger so he's ready to go.
I've honestly never tried so hard to talk someone out of giving me $500 in my life...

RE: official evader st thread
I dunno... I'm still dumbfounded and feel sorta bad for some reason. He hassled me for over a year, though, and I did nothing but tell him no. I could have parted it out on eBay and got about that for all the separate parts, but as a complete rtr it wouldn't have hit $150. Oh well, all in all I had a lot of fun with it, learned a lot, got to share what I learned with some of the other evader dudes out there, and came out without such a huge hole in my pocket... guess I should be happy! That is a pretty good pile to start my next couple of projects with.

Right now, 35mph under normal conditions.
But my batteries suck majorly so its not going as fast as it could be, hopefully Ill be getting some packs before long. I have the money for them, but their are other things I need.

ii own an xxt and im working on an evader pro..... evader st tranny.... still trying to find one
For the tranny, youll have to buy the parts peice by peice, they dont sell it as one item.
Youll need the case, all the bearings, all the parts to build a ball diff. (diff rebuild kit, outdrives, and diff gear), idler gear (comes with its shaft, I suggest you get the aluminum one), top gear (built onto its shaft), and some diff grease (MIP's is what I use) for when you put the differential together.
Oh and for the instruction manuals, you can download them from duratrax's website.

Also, if you dont already have it, the heatsink motor plate makes a HUGE difference, its only like 18 bucks, looks cool, and
keeps your motor cooler.
