Question: What is the purpose of a one way?
Hey RCU, nothing is wrong with my car now, fortunately . Now I am just curious about this fancy "one way" differential set. What is so special about a one way compared to the regular (whatever that is called). What does it do that makes it so much more significant. Question just popped up when I was looking at Pro 4 parts on tower.

you still have rear brakes, just no front... The purpose is to allow the truck the ability to lock the rear while preventing the front end from plowing or skidding thru the turn... I use this on my cen mt2 when racing... it kicks the back end around in a tight turn alowing you to run faster without slowing up not making the turn... think of it as E-braking your car....... works great for racing... not for bashing... loose half your braking power...

Basicly... The fronts get no break, giving them more ability to do there job (turn). It feels good, (to me) because it pulls you through the turn much nicer, and pulling through tight turns and gunin' out of the apex to max power... man thats the best feeling in the world!
