Default Gear Ratio Calculator

Hello All,

I've found a very intresting program in my travels. This is a gear ratio calculator for R/C vehicles. It seems to work good, and I have had absolutly no problems with it (bugs, worms, general mayhem).

The site is

http://www.waits.net/public/rcgears/

You have to download it. It should take less then 2 minuts.

That is a pretty good utility. Now I just need to find the RPMs of my motor. Anyone know how may mm's a standard buggy tire is?

Do you know the outside diameter of the tire? It should say the outside diameter on the sidewall. And, you can change the mesurment units by clicking on the button.

On the motor, what is it? The manufacturer should have the specs if it is not indicated on the sticker on ths side of the can.

A good rollout calculator, and one I'll keep for that purpose, but utterly useless for speed calculations.

Cool, I'd love to see one get it right. So many variables to deal with though.
