RE: T-Spec T-spec Hop-ups
Well youre not going to find hop-ups for it, simply because its a spec car.
You should be able to find replacement parts etiher at towerhobbies or directly from trinity.
Dont know about the spur gear, but any 48pitch pinion for a 1/8" shaft will work.
EDIT------
Well actually their are a few things you can change on it.
You can upgrade general parts like turnbuckles (EG to AE blue titanium's), screws (EG to AE blue aluminum's), ball cups (EG to RPM's), tires/wheels, etc. but the chassis its self is not made to be upgraded.

if you have cad and cnc machines, then just make some parts. i would suggest modifications to anything that rotates so as to drop the rotating mass

RE: T-Spec T-spec Hop-ups
Spec cars are meant for spec racing. Spec racing is a type of racing thats meant to limit the price of racing by using lower quality equipment (and therefore make it more affordable), and to make the races mostly based on driving skill/setup skill, rather than amount of cash in your wallet.
In spec racing everyone drives the exact same car (or at least one thats legal for street-spec), with the same motor, same battery pack, same tires, and maybe even the same style of body (not shure on that one). I think you can use any receiver/servo you want, but their are limits as to what ESC can be used. I beleive their are aslo regulations as to what connectors can/have to be used on the motor/battery pack.
Nope, the only interchangeable parts are general items like I mentioned before.
Their are no optional parts for spec cars as like I said, everyones car is supposed to be the same (thats the whole popint of spec racing).
Youc an read more about them on trinities website, they should have a manual thing on spec racing somwhere.

im pretty sure parts from other cars can go on it no? like some tc3 stuff or AE stuff.. they have to be pretty similar?

it wont go very fast because its spec and if you cant find parts just buy a losi or a AE or HPI after you get the hang of driving.

RE: T-Spec T-spec Hop-ups
i think that trinity had in mind for the t spec to be more than just a spec car. i think they wanted to make a spec car, that could be used out of spec. if you notice, the motor mount for the tc3 fits, the pro4 diffs fit...ect. i dont think that is just a cowicidence, i think trinity ment to do that.

From what Ive heard, the T-specs driveline cant handle the power of most non-spec motors.

i read the review and i find it convincing enough to buy, as a 15 year old myself money is a problem. notice in the "Likes" part, it says "highly tunable" well its pretty self explanitory. i dont see how you cant hop it up... correct me if wrong..?[:@]
EDIT: i quote, "Although the T-Spec will run stick packs, the chassis has cutouts for side-by-side batteries. Hey, just because it’s a "spec" car doesn’t mean you can’t use it in other classes!"
more cells.....faster, but after all.. you did say "From what i heard" so it can all be rumours. I WANT MY T-SPEC !!!![&:][&:]

RE: T-Spec T-spec Hop-ups
i dont think i have a defective model. i know however that a person at my track tried to put a 19t single in it and he had no more diffs left of the car. and you want to put a 19x2 in it your not going to have a spur gear. just save the agravation and buy a losi or HPI its a lot cheaper in the long run. trust me t-spec are not a good car i cant run stock with mine that is why i am getting a xxx-s g+. like i said before either you spend 80$ on pro4 diffs or you get a losi or a pro4.
