1/10th Electric on road
I am looking to get a 1/10th scale electric touring car. Which manufacturer is best? Associated, HPI, or other?
I will be buying it soon so please let me know your preferences. I am leaning toward a TC4 by Team Associated. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for the input,
Daryl[8D]

well HPI has thebest touring car in my opinion but its only availible in kit form if you want a rtr( readyto run) you might want to go with associated but i reccomend hpi because ive had both an hpi and associated and they were even but the hpi was more durable. if you are intimadated by the kit get the associated( there are other good touring cars such as hot bodies cyclone, team corally rdx, and yokomos line of tc. those are the high grade espensive tc.

I've got the ft tc4 and i think it is great. The kit goes together real easy and it is super adjustable. Its by no means an RDX or cyclone but it drives great allows for larger electronics common to beginners.

RE: 1/10th Electric on road
are you a beginning driver or just trying to find the best 1/10th on-road electric?
i'd recommend a RTR if are a beginner to cut down on cost. Anything that Tamiya, HPI, etc makes is quite durable
A better investment in the long run competitively would be a belt drive car, i'm only familiar with Tamiya cars. Depending on the LHS in your area, a lot of the older TA04 belt drive chassis are going for a killer price right now. There is a new TA05 out also that has improvements over its predecessor

They rated it better simply beacuse the tc4 can be run on carpet and tarmac without changing chassis's. It was actually more like a tie. I think either one would be a good choice.
