the t4 is a racing stadium truck. not for bashing. The pro is very durable.

All metal gears then make the case crack/break so you HAVE to have the aluminum idler and plastic diff gear

With which esc, because the Novak GTB can only handle up to six cells. The T4 can handle the GTB with the 5.5 motor with no problems, and could handle the 5.5 with 7 cells using a different esc.

No good for bashing, or not good period?? Either way, what do you base that on? I own a T4, and bash with it on a regular basis, with no problems, other than the regular broken part now and then, which is unavoidable regardless of what truck you bash with. I can't really say anything about the evader, as I have never owned or driven one, so I wouldn't be ignorant enough to make a blanket statement, such as, "the evader's no good." One thing the evader does have going for it, is free parts replacement for a year. For that reason alone, it may be worth going with the evader. One other word about the t4, if you are a basher, go with the team kit, not the factory team kit, as it is a pure bred racer. The parts are lighter, but are also less forgiving in a crash.

I have 2 xxx-ts and have had them up to 78 mph without any problems(well except when I have wrecked at those speeds) I also have a b4 with a novak 5800 in it and have not had any issues either. As for an evader I had a hacker 8s in it and constantly killed the tranny until I made it all metal(then my brother jumped it about 10 feet in the air and landed really hard and twisted the tranny case and killed the tranny anyways). He also broke the rear kick plate and rear shocktower at that time too.

78 huh? I'd love to see some video of that, how did you verify your speed?

the t4 is one of the top 2 race trucks out there. there is really a toss up between the t4 and mf2. the vader is more of a basher with limited race potential.
asking these types of questions always gets nothing but opinions and opinions are like A-holes..everybody has one and about half the peole make themselves look like one.
the t4 will easly handle a gtb, a sphere, or a high power sensorless.
as for the bs about the t4s being junk...what do you base that on?
as for the 78mph claim, i have seen this beofre, what was the setup for that and how did you check it?

mouser...according to your sig, you dont own either truck so what qualifies you to say anything is good or not?

I have had up to 14 cells on my xxx-ts with a lehner 5300. I also had my speed verified by a hand held gps that I taped on there too. I know that there are a few people on this board that has the lehner 5300 moter, put that many cells on it and you will see(only do that for a few passes or you will destroy your motor). I no longer have my 5300 b/c running that kind of power(7 cells) all the time it was eating the trust bearings about every 20 runs. I now have the lehner 4200 and can run it all day 7 days a week with out any problems.

i knew there was some setup, but couldnt remember what. 14 cells is like taping a brick on there and while the number sounds good, it had no performance ability.
away from the losi/ae battle; the t4 is the better racer, the vader the better basher
