hey i was wondering does anyone own one of these himoto 1/10 electric 4wd cars?

i've seen acouple and they dont look half bad.*i am not new to rc'ing*

are they anygood. i no the speed is over exxaggerated.

That's actually by selective RC. "Himoto" must have copied it and resold it. RCU magazine has made a review for it on this link. It can also be found on the home page of RCU.

You can see it 2 ways... Either a very cheap knockoff of tamiya or any other manuf... Or you can go the other way and see it as a very good radio shack RTR !!

Your call.. but it doesnt seem so bad if you dont plan to upgrade it. Considering everything comes with it and it doesnt look bad at all !

It does indeed look like the selective RC car ! Not a bad deal at all !! I would get one to only fool around !!

As far as i know, selective donest make anythign themselves. They buy from factories in China and repackage them. The cheap airplanes like Air phantom, dark knight were bought from china and repackaged. The package is the same, they didnt even chagne the box. THey just stick a SRC sticker on it.. In this case, i am sure HImoto is the original manufacture and selective rc just buy it from oem

This car looks like a knock off of a knock off. I bet its somehow related to smartech or whoever, most likely out of the same factory. Not tsaying its bad cuz i never try it.

i got a rtr tamiya tl-01 look alike for $50...right now its awesome and have bought parts for the tl-01.
