Default whoops... motor cleaner question

When I was cleaning my motor with motor spray I sprayed the armature and now a part of it looks kinda strange and it won't run anymore. Does motor spray mess up the armatures in the motors, or is it something else??

If it was motor cleaner then you are supposed to spray the whole thing. It wasn't motor lube was it?

no I just used regular motor spray. Here are some pics of the armature. That thing I'm pointing to is kinda scratched up and looks different than the other ones[&:]

heheh camera phone no digi camera[&o] Sorry about the quality lol, but motor cleaner doesn't ruin it? Cause I cant think of anything else that could have gone wrong with it. Also when I tried to run it today it went foreward like one foot and stopped. Then my esc started smoking

nope no epoxy as far as I know

Motor cleaner woundn't do that. Maybe one of the brushes was binding.
