Default Anyone have a HV brushless Emaxx?

I was thinking of getting a Novak HV system for my maxx.I was just wonderign what to exspect will it double the speed and power,or will it just go a little bit faster?
Also would I need to replace anything before putting in Brushless, like beef up the tranny or drive line?
If you have any vids,or could link me to some online That would be great

35-40mph [12cells] 38-43mph [14cells] depending on the quality of cells used. you will definately need metal idler gears [20-40$] and a robinson hardened steel rear diff [40-50$]. maybe you will need a front one after some serious use [another 40-50$]. i won`t even comment the need of alloy bulkheads [40$+40$ / front+rear] no matter if you will be using the HV-maxx or not. the stock shafts will last 6months or maybe a year if you are carefull. otherwise you will need CVDs => 50$ [front+rear] + 50$ [center axles] = 100$ for those. for a safe/bulletproof drivetrain upgrade for use with serious brushless systems, you will need 260-300$.

So its not even worth it unless you plan on spending a bundle huh.
I just wanted to make the Emaxx fast, and do it simple,I have other rc's to worry about the emaxx is just to bash around the yard with with son.
I think Ill keep it stock and be happy

I don't know anything about the HV maxx brushless system. Does it use TWO brushless motors? or one? stupid question probably, but thanks.

it will DEFINATELY make a noticeable improvement. Although I reccomend holding out to see the price of castle creations Mamba Monster Maxx as it should give the novak a run for its money.

No date for sure, but I suppose it will also work with the castle link allowing you to edit and redefine the stats and diagnostics of the motor such as acceleration, power usage, and MANY other options.

yeah being four wheel drive the e-maxx must be nice with BL. My stampede with BL is a hand full! it either spins the tires or wheelies like F*ING crazy!

ok well center drive shafts are $35 CVD's are $60. Aluminum bulkheads are $20 each. Robinson diffs are $35 each. Idler gears 20-30ish. Yup it's expensive... if the mamba maxx is tweakable on the computer I'm so buying it when it comes out!
