Default Pick out a radio system for me!

I want to upgrade to an FM radio system. I am a basher, I don't see any real racing in my future. Would like to keep the cost low. Thanks in advance! Please post a comment after voting because I need all the advice I can get.

I'd say Hitec CRX or SRX.

Thanks-- I was looking at the SRX, just forget to put it in the poll.

RCU rules, no selling in the forums, keep it in the classifieds or PM who you think may be interested. -Thanks

Gunnut, PM me, and I can hook you up with a link to a New XS3 for 135.

I have the Xr3i, and the XS3, and I prefer the XS3, because it has the synthesized, and it holds more models

Any 2.4GHz would be the "best option"

Yea, 2.4GHz is the DSM frequency such as in the Spektrum DX3 or Nomadio Sensor.

But the DX3 radio kinda sux, since they used an extremely old radio to put the DSM in. I'd prefer a newer FM radio over it

I'm sure I'd like one, but they're too expensive. If I was racing I'd do it.

I just picked up a MX-3S for my T4. I would recommend it over the MX-3 since it's not too much more money, and you get synthesized with it. I've always heard really good things about the JR's too..

Gunnut, why not a 135 dollar NIB XS3? Better than any other radio listed

I'm definitely interested. Sounds like a great deal-- I've bid on a used XS3 and the auction times out tonight. If I don't win, I'll PM you about your XS3. Thanks mayhem[sm=thumbup.gif]

gunnut, I like my MX-3 but it glitches a bit with my SS5800, and I have heard of another Pede owner's MX-3 glitching as well. I DO NOT have proof that MX-3's are always more prone to glitching with the SS5800 than other radios (there are many factors involved), but you might want to steer clear of the MX-3 just in case.

K

I do like the JR line of radios for their quality. Although I do like the Hitec CRX/SRX
