these are standard 2.2 inch rims. the vast majority of ST [stadium truck] tires will fit. go to www.towerhobbies.com and search for 2.2 tires. you will find anything you want from prices starting from 6-10$ per pair.

what charge rate are you using?
as for the tires, yes your LHS will be able to carry any of these tires. they come in a large variety...

first of all i need a back pic of the box of the charger, since there is no charging rate published in the pic included in your previous post.
second, i STRONGLY recommend that you buy a better charger. keep in mind that the charger isn`t the place you can afford to get cheap on. a good charger will take care of your batteries, it won`t charge them more than needed, it won`t charge them less than needed, it won`t kill them within 1 or 2 years. the charger you are using WILL. it costs 25$ to get a duratrax intellipeak dc only charger or 50$ [which i highly recommend] to get a digital piranha. it will save you $$$ when it comes to battery lifespan.

keep in mind that you can keep the power supply of your current charger and use it for your new intellipeak dc-only charger [25$]. the piranha is directly usable without the need for a PS. so if you are on a tight budget, go for the intellipeak.

1. your pinion mesh might be too tight.
2. your motor is nearing retirement.
3. your gearing could be incorrect.
4. are you using an MSC or an ESC?
5. what motor are you using?

1.the motor`s shaft is attached to a gear. that gear is called pinion. the gear that is revolved by the pinion is called spur gear. if these two gears are very tightly engaged, the motor, the esc and the battery overheats and the runtime AND performance is reduced drastically. if it is too loose, the spur gear will be damaged. the correct distance between them can be adjusted with a relatively thick piece of paper [such as a page from a notepad]. apply the notepad page between the pinion and the spur and engage firmly. tighten the motor screw holders. remove the paper and you are done.
-ps: most tamiyas [and yours maybe] are using fixed mounting positions. therefore, you don`t have to do the above process.
2.7days old? new? right out of the box?
the only way to be sure that your pack is charged fully [with your current charger] is too let it charge till it gets warm. that will eventually damage the battery. now you should appreciate the value of an automatic [peak] charger like the one i recommended. if you charge your pack less than fully, you harm it. if you charge it more, you harm it. get a good charger.
your car might as well be much heavier than the grasshoper. that makes for less runtime. you could use a smaller pinion gear. consult the car`s manual for the pinion sizes that can be used. use the exact smaller than the one you use now. you will find such pinions at your LHS.

anything more than 4 or 5amps drastically shortens the lifespan of the cells -ESPECIALLY if the cells are low quality AND/OR if the charger is low-end [like the one you have]

make sure you read the charge rate of the charger within the instructions, NOT the rating of the power supply [the one that goes to the wall outlet]
