charger question?
I recently bought a duratrax intellipeak digital charger and all was good until the other day my batteries started to make a light buzzing noise during the charging process. I have charged a few different types of batteries and they all make this noise. All of the batteries still take a peak charge and still work but I am not sure if the buzzing is bad for the batteries or not? Is this a problem with my charger? Any thoughts, thanks!

RE: charger question?
I'm pretty sure it's normal. I have two intellipeak twin chargers and they both do it. 3.5 Amps is a lot of current going into those batteries-- So I'm thinking that sound is normal.

RE: charger question?
My guess is that you are hearing a 60-cycle hum that is pretty normal for some electrical equipment. Not really in the WRONG forum per se, just that there is a better one. The guys over in Batteries and Chargers are electrical wizards!

RE: charger question?
That's the best explanation I have ever heard on this buzzing as I have heard it on various batteries and various chargers at various times. Never knew what it was.
