I'm still here! Err, but the RC10 is on the chopping block. Going to sell it in the near future on the Bay. Ah well...I'll still have the old school Bosscat.

Nice ..... if there are any Tamiya fans reading ... the '4WD Hot Shot' is being re-released. I always wanted one of those. Guess I can own a nice one now.
The Hotshot looks great! I'm thinking of picking one up. What's the rough hobby shop price for 'em? I know most hobby shops have them at much lower prices than those advertised on Tamiya's site.

Anyway, I've got a re-release Hornet, so just dropping by to say that. I bought it for $50 USD at a hobby shop just south of the border (Canada/US) at a hobby shop called Niagara Hobby. They specialize mainly in large-scale trains, some static models, but not really R/C, so I got this for a steal!

Hopefully this is the best place to ask this. I'm going to sell my Traxxas Cat. It's had MAYBE 3 batteries run through it. I looked around and couldn't find a real idea on the asking price. Any ideas what I could realisticly get for it? It runs perfect and the only thing "wrong" is a crack where the wing attaches. I did a temp fix with tape and it seems pretty good. I still have the manual and parts list for it.

Also, can someone please tell me what kind of buggy this is? The tires and a-arms all resemble a Ultima, but of course the tub is made of plastic... I can't seem to find a good picture of it anywhere.

I have a box of three old tamiya cars, two dont work the grasshopper II and Scorpion?(wait I think this one is made by Cox or Kyosho?), the third one (only one that rolls at the moment) is the Frog. I'm still looking for the original rear axels for the Frog. Does anyone know if the new rerelease parts will work wth the original oldschool parts or do I have to suck it up and buy a whole new "rear end"for it?

Hey JT101,

I don't know if anyone has answered your question, or if you are even still looking since it has been a while since your post, but that car is an Kyosho Ultima II. It was a mistake on Kyosho's part to do that car. They should have stuck with the direction they were going with the Original Ultima or do something like the Optima (4 wheel drive). I believe that many of the 1/10scale touring cars were borne out of the innovations in the Optima and the also forgotten Javelin. IMHO.

Hey delvallejr thanks for the reply to my question. The Ultima 2 looks like many different kyosho buggies, so it was hard finding out which one it was. I thought it was the old school Kyosho Outrage, they look very similar to me. Anyways, I bought them lol. I like collecting old cars, no matter if they were winners or not.

BDRMBULLY the 18t mamba motor is way to small for a 1/10 scale car

Adam-rc novice
cool thats about the best way to get out broken bolts/screws

Rs43EVOman
here is some pics of my 10's with diffrent rims
crome ones on the truggy conversion are the rpm rims
and thie pic with 2 cars is the diffrence betwene stock rc10 size and the new one peice replacement's(with either u can use new 2.2 size tires so its eiser to get raceing tires)
I decided to offer a trade to a guy on here that has a vintage RC10 goldpan. Willing to trade my E-Maxx for it.
He might do it, waiting on a response from him though.

from that pic u posted thats not a b2 unless u hgave converted it to run a alum chassis (gold tub at that ) from what i rember the t2 has a alum chassis but is black and is diffrent from the gold tub (small square cutout for the tranny to sit in on rear ) and the b2 is the first rc10 to run a plastic chassis
