Fastest brushed motor down to 10 turn
My esc says it will handle a 10 turn, I am looking for the fastest motor it will handle. it is going in an RC10T, yes the original. i found some trinity d4 10T double, or 11t triple, 12t quad. or another brand would be ok, but open for suggestions. thanks to all that help.

RE: Fastest brushed motor down to 10 turn
Going fast is real easy. Just buy a fast motor.
But don't expect it to be fast for very long.
There is a universal Axiom in electric RC: Speed costs.
While a 10 turn motor will indeed be VERY fast, you are going to dramatically cut the overall runtime of the truck due to the increased current draw of the faster motor. Lower turn motors also require more maintenance, more often to keep them in top operating condition.
That maintenance included periodic commutator resurfacing, brush replacement and bearing replacements. This can get very expensive, very quickly. Most hobby stores will charge $15-$30.00 for a rebuild. How of often you have to rebuild the motor depends on how often you run it.
A hot motor, such as a 10 turn is not intended as a basher motor. it is intended for racing applications, where you expect to do the maintenance.

Not on the Checkpoint motors, you can runt them 20, 30, or even 40 runs without rebuilding. They go down to 9x2 off road.

So I've heard, Robert. I have no experience with them, so I'm not about to recommend them to anyone just on hear-say.
On that subject, have you checked what the rebuild cost is for the Checkpoint motor? The replacement brushes alone are $10-15.00. My LHS offers machining and rebuilds, but charges a premium for the service. With brushes, a team Checkpoint motos costs $45 to rebuild at my LHS.
