Default old parts?

after buying an Associated RC18MT a while back, i dug out the rest of my old RC equipment. i've got an original Blackfoot and an old Associated RC10T. i put some electronics in the blackfoot and took it for a spin, and she still hauls around nicely, but after driving the indestructable 18MT, i got used to hitting big jumps. a big jump with an old blackfoot is a bad thing, i snapped the shock tower in half after it did a nice endo off the jump. ouch.

so, i pulled the electronics out and stuffed them into my RC10T. i forgot how quick that thing is! it can really soak up the terain too. after a couple batteries, i brought it inside and gave it an inspection and found some not-so-good news. the entire chassi is bent, in more than one way. you can see from the side pictures the whole thing has bent into a nice subtle curve, and from the front you can see the chassi has been twisted as well.

i love these old trucks, i've had them for over 10 years now (got the 10T brand new out of the box when they first came out!) so its kind of a bummer to see them broken. i contaced Associated about needing parts, and they way they made it sound, i'll be lucky to find any parts for it. lord only knows if parts even exist for the Blackfoot still.

so, does anyone out there know of a source for old school parts like these? i think if i get the blackfoot fixed, it'll be a shelf queen, i couldnt bear smashing it up even worse. the 10T though still kicks hard, despite a deformed frame, so that one still has some life in it, but it would most likely handle just a bit better with a straight chassi. any ideas?

thanks,
nick

edit: i just saw the "vintage rc official old school" thread, maybe that'll have some clues for me.

edit again: i almost forgot, last weekend i got my old Traxxas NitroBuggy running after it was quite for more than 5 years (5 years ago i hit a jump wrong and it cartwheeled like a pinwheel, breaking all four arms). well after getting it all cleaned up, i got it running for about 5 minutes till i hit the SAME jump from 5 years ago and did the same thing this time it was only 2 of the arms that broke. i was able to get a replacement gas tank from Traxxas last time i drove the truck. are they still running parts for this buggy?
