Default 18T w/ Mamba

I just purchased an Associated 18T and installed a Mamba 8000 in it.. I am fairly new to the electric scene and would like some information on a Lipo setup.. Please let me know what battery and charger I should buy for this specific setup.. I understand that Lipo's can be some what of a pain so any additional information would be great. Thanks -

Well with a mamba there are 2 common lipo's used. The 2S and 3S. With the 2S being a 7.4V pack, and the 3S being a 11.1V pack.

As for a charger, the Duratrax Ice is good. I use a Swallow Advance, and that can charge Lipo's.

With Lipo's you just have to keep a close eye on them when charging, as over charged packs can explode.

How fast do you want to go? If you want to go 50mph put in a 2s lipo, if you want to go 60 mph put in a 3s lipo. My reccomendation is to go with a 2 cell. A 3 cell will be uncontrollable. I reccomend this

Its got a good discharge rate, alot of mah, fits the 18t perfectly, and is very affordable.

charger wont go up to 4s, only 3s and i dont have room to run my 3s.
take a look in my evo thread..50mph in less than 200ft... not to shaby for only a 2s pack and that was the last time i ran which was before i did my newer custom topshaft and did the custom inline axels.
