Yeah, one of the big reasons why I am all for Tamiyas.. as I grew up with them!! I am only now buying kits that I couldn't afford back then..

I Love the Monster Beetle. Second car I owned - but I always wanted a Frog so I converted it to a Frog but left the big tires. They have yet to re-re the Monster Beetle, but I bet is just a matter of time before the do.
They still make the chassis and the body - and the tires. To me it is a no brainer.

...and the suspension was like if Stampede killer had kept the original swingarm suspension in addition to the new independent one.
