Why isn't my soldering iron working?
Hey guys,
Today my iron just isnt working for some reason. It was working perfectly yesterday and the iron isnt even a year old and hasnt done more than 48 hours of work. its a 80w iron.
Any ideas why it doesnt work or how I can fix it?
Thanks

Go to HOme depot and get an 80w Weller. Works great and gets super hot. I use this one for making battery packs.
I use 3 different Wellers 80w, 40w and 25w (I think). I have had them all for a couple years and have never had a problem with any of them.

Wellers are the best, though expensive compared no-name brands, and they have the most choice in tips. There are some other good brands but they are $300. or more. I know some people who have wellers from decades ago and they still work good as new.
