u can use any new bats i would reccomend 3300 or better as for a charger a good cheap one is the vision peak

http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN4045

im not quite shure what rims wil fit the jrx so u might have to ask around a bit or check ebay for rims

the only way u would be ablre to shorten ur antenna would be to buy a diffrent reciver that had a shorter wire

as for a body i just checked and didnt find any stock ones on ebay u migth just have to try diffrent bodys to looks like the associated rc10 viper body might fit

u had said u wanted a shorter antenna well some recivers have shorter wires coming off the reciver and that s the only way u would have a shorter antenna u dont want to cut the one u have

as for getting a shorter one check tower hobby aor ebay and look for just about any newer reciver i

i just got 2 recivers and a controller for 15 usd off ebay they are stock elect from a rc18 t and are verry small and have short antenna's i think they call them xps recivers

as for the bats as long as ur car has standard tamiya plugs (white plastic connector) u will not have to change ur connectors(i do reccomend swaping them all to deans connectors tho )

and u should not have to change ur esc /motor unless u want to for more speed

what esc do u have now

as long as ur car is working thoes things will be just fine i run tons of old elect in my cars with out problems

that connector looksd like a micro connector so if i were u i would go ahead and get regular deans
http://search.ebay.com/deans-connect...sopZ3QQxpufuZx

as for bats

im guessing u dont have raido shacks in canada so ur sol on the cheap gp 3300
but i recomend any gp or ib nimh cell packs 3300 mah up (6-7 cells)

I bought today 10 pairs of deans plugs.... 11,67$ cdn I think its a good price...

I need an advice, I dont know what to do
I will receive soon the deans but im wondering if I change the old plug for the new one right now if I dont buy new stuff... maybe later
bc getting new batterie that has deans plugs, I will have to change all my equipment plugs by the new deans plugs...

Should I buy new stuff for a vintage... this is the question...
car working pretty good right now and I have lot of spare parts now...but I could get a better car...

also if i get a 3300 mah batterie, does my motor has a chance to broke?
if yes that means a new motor...

disgolfer do u have msn messenger?

no msn

most of my cars are vintage and i have had better luck whith them over new cars but parts are hard to get when u brake stuff
so its really up to u

if u have the money and the car u have now is running good (the way it is)then buy a new rc car and keep the old one to . the rc10 t4 or b4 and the losi xxxt and xxx are verry good new cars with plenty of replacment parts and hopup parts

i would use the deans i dont know what type the connectors are on ur car now bud deans are very good and will increase the power of ur motor over regular plugs

as for ur bast as long as ur running 6 cell packs u will not have to worrie about the new bats hurting ur motor or esc u might want to get some new brushes and springs for ur motor tho just to give u a little better speed (by the way do u know what motor r u running)

Yea I will change my connectors by the new deans...

I dont know what motor I am running lol...
this car is to my father and hes not playing with it anymore so he doesnt remember and for myself I just startin in Rc car so, I dont know yet how to remove the motor lol

Maybe I can spend some cash on the vintage to get it better (batterie, motor)instead of getting a new one... b/c I dont have much time and we dont have a lot of tracks in Quebec and I dont know yet if I really like Rc car bc i never went on track...

btw if I change the batterie, I need automaticly a new charger?
The first thing to do is get on the track to see if i like that and if my car suck ass lolll

it all depends on the charger u have

u need to find out if it will charge (nimh) bats or (nicd) does your bat say one of thoes on it and what kind of charger do u have

pics dont really help

is there any model # on it and i cant tell if the charger is the tekin thing or if thats just a powersuply

do a googe search for the brand and see what u come up with but if the charger is more than a couple of years old u will need to geat a new on that can charge nimh bats or just get some good 2400 nicd bats (but thay wont be as good as the nimh ones ) i reccomend the vision peak its cheap and works great i have had mine for 2 years now and had no problems
