Landing a jump properly?
Hi all, I've been having a blast with my Rustler but noticing that every now and then when I'm landing a jump, my front end is teetering down and landing first.
From some of the videos I have seen, the electric truck rear end seems to be lower when in mid-air so that on landing, the rear tires hit first making for a safer landing.
Would adding a slight bit of weight to the rear of my Rustler help? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Brandon

Slow down by releasing throttle as you fly up the ramp. Then when midair, goose the throttle, and you should be good! (except with my old truck, which refused to lift the front because the motor was so slow. But the Titan 12T has no problems lifting up the front.)

Thanks!
I get it, the whole jump is about control
So get good speed, then come back on the throttle up the ramp, then apply throttle mid-air and I should be able to land better.
You can see from a video I made that sometimes I land right, other times not
These are small jumps I built just to learn and get started!

You can get your vehicle to jump differently with suspension. If you want the front to stay up, you can stiffen the front a little. Personally, I make my trucks run good while on the ground and make the jumping adjustment with throttle or brake. Landing on all four is what you want. Tough to do sometimes.

Thanks for the advice!
I'll try a few runs with stiffer suspension on the front and see how it goes!
I've just seen some mega jumps where the minute the truck gets airbourne its on a 30 degree angle up through-out the jump for a nice landing
I agree tough to land flat but when you hit that, it's an awesome feeling
