I have a ZX5, but I cannot compare it to the others you are considering. The Kyosho is a good buggy, but in my opinion, it needs a few upgrades in order to be more durable. For one, it comes with front CVDs, but I had to buy a set for the rear. The arm holders are another weak point, but there are alloy replacements that you can buy. I only bought one for the front and I have had no problems since.

Good Luck!

I myself really do not like the tenth technology XRS because there are absolutely no parts for them anywhere since it is a European brand car...would u consider the XXX-4 or the kyosho lazer zx5?

Based solely on looking at the XXX-4 chassis lay out, I would probably buy one rather than another Kyosho ZX-5. [&:] The XXX-4 has a mid-mounted motor vs. the Kyosho's which sets further back on the chassis. It makes me think that the Losi would have better balance and the motor would be more easily accessed (Kyosho motor location seems a little difficult to get to).

I like Losi products and if I had researched, rather than bought on impulse, I would probably have gone with the XXX-4. I bet both buggies have their strong and weak points. Maybe the Losi needs several upgrades in order to be more durable and might cost you more in the long run, I don't know.

It's not even in the same category as the buggies he is considering.

hmmm....thanks guys I think I have made my decision of just buying a XXX-4 since my track basically carries only losi parts and associated. I was also wondering if I should get a brushless system on it or not, what do u guys think? Does anyone know anything about the x-5 conversion for the xxx-4?
