My boss has one of the blizzards, but it's pretty old. I thought that they had stopped making them. His is pretty quick with a moderate engine and ESC. With the proper gearing and motor, that thing could fly over the snow. But I wonder if throwing the tracks off is a potential problem if you try to get it going at high speeds. I think a snow plow for one would be cool, but it would also be a great vehicle for a wireless camera, it'll go all kinds of places, and is very nimble.

Here's some never before seen pics of my stampede with it's old body!!

That sticky snow looks cool but is a pain to get off so it doesn't rust the truck..

Ya my blizzard is pretty old too I think because my dad got it for me when I wasn't really into r/c and built it for me but now I need to upgrade it becuase believe it or not it has a MSC and I dont know what motor is in it. Ya but I drove my pede in the snow before I got brushless and the snow always got stuck to the front tires.

That's an awesome snow rustler![X(] It is the rustler right? How well to the ski's steer in the snow? Did you have to mount them at an angle, so that the inner ski will dig in when you go to turn (like real ski's or a snowmobile)?

No I ended up running a wire 1/16'' down the center to give me a cutting edge, and they actually work really good.
